as some of you are aware of my problems i have with my gp3 rep and the company called funbikes i wanted to ask for a little advice.
my rep has been nothing but trouble since i bought it. eating clutches etc . the bike was sent back to funbikes a month or so back as i couldnt get the clutches to bite without burning into a cloud of dust and sparks from the drum and clutch hitting each other on revving. the bike came back with damage to the fairing and a lot of scratches looked like they had been using it around the carpark i was told it was damaged in the post and basically tuff . i also sent a polini clutch back which also disintegrated and broke a spring.
after trying it for the first time since i got it back it let me down i stripped it to check out what was the matter this time to find out that the new clutch i had fitted under warrantee hadnt been fitted correctly and had spun on the crank and wrecked both. upon removing the crank i also noticed the bearings were nearly shot too and after using for a total of five minutes since new should have been fine but it was away for over two weeks so i have no idea whatthey were doing to it. i have phoned funbikes a lot since also sent them emails and finally had to send them a letter written in a format given to me by trading standards and still no reply or any parts sent in the post.
what do i do?
they have wrecked my bike and still have my polini clutch .i know these bikes are full of problems but i do know and was also informed by trading standards that any item sold must be fit for the purpose intended out of the box. so i have a bike in bits with parts i refuse to pay for, a clutch which cost me an arm and a leg which funbikes still have and wont return
i really cant take any more hastle being in buisness myself, i have enough worries ,but why should i let people walk over me?
so be warned anyone buying from this company i am not telling any lies just my experience with them,
is anyone out there a solicitor that can help me?
