After i got back from racing i noticed alot of wear on my rear tyre. At first i thought id just been a great rider but it was only after that i noticed the chain rubbing on the tyre! It looks to be just how the bike was built, but i'm sure there must be away of fixing it So, any ideas?

chain deflection (tension) is only a few mm with these bikes my chain slackened after first ride and was slapping the tyre and the gearbox. with the chain tightened it wont touch the tyre

Hi Tony Did you fit that roller chain tensioner? Did it work? And does it just fit onto the swing arm? Thanks

no i didnt bother once i found out they need to be quite tight. it doesnt touch it now. but if it does still bother you the rubber on the sides of the tyre are very thick so you could shave a bit off it. im going to do that as ill never lean the bike that far. lol
