after much pondering over whether to repair the reverse engine or not ive decided to break the lump and all neccesarry components and sell them here or on ebay. as the bike is just for fun im going to ditch it and fit a more reliable less hp air cooled engine i was out yesterday on my cags and decided the rubbish hp is fine for me over unreliability of the watercooled rep engines
p.m me for what you want. the only thing that is knackered is the conrod and clutch it is broken to the last nut and bolt if anything is wanted. but im not breaking the bike

good luck, i already haved the same thinking, think about a gearbox (like the real a/c gp3) cause the rear wheel are not large like noraml PB. check it, whit a regular gear box, the engine may be not centred, it about the right foot pegs rest the gearbox will give.
i never try a real gp3 air cooled, i dont know how less large it make the engine assembly, but may realy help, cause i check rapidly the dimention and it look like the pullstart will be where the foot rest.
chain---> around 205mm---> end of the starter.
so check from you rear brake what 205mm look like.

i help a friend, he having a air cooled gp3, i discover the a/c gear box have a gear ratio of 3.22 they have a 9:29 gearbox drived by a chain, noting reverse there. then it have a output sproket of 15 to 52... it mean stock its pretty the same as 6:68 ratio and a 60 gear at back will give a 13:1 ratio, just like a 6:78 ratio on normal bike. may help you a day  |

do you still have the drive shaft.how much would you want for it?
A mate of mine was riding his gp3 rep today and we think he,s broken his.
We are racing monday and he could do with getting one quickly.Do you live in u.k.
we are in bournemouth.

still have the lot minus the useless crank make me an offer for the whole lot in bits and its yours. wont get it by monday tho its easter hols the engine had around 10 mis use so all is as new

but managed to pick one up locally at minimoto south,thats got him back racing tomorrow,then going to change to polini shaft in a few weeks.
