Would just like to know what plugs everyone has fitted to there machines and how long they lasted. Do you guys just fit them and forget them or do you replace them at regular intervals?
Your input will be much appreciated. Ken.

Thanks everyone.
Ran the bike for two hours+ last night on a B9ES plug. When we got home i took the plug out to check it and its the golden/tan colour which i was hoping for.
When we were running the B9EGV racing plug it would always be oily black, though the bike would still have performed well.
As the B9ES seems to be burning the fuel mix better i will stick to those from now on.
Thanks for your opinions, Ken.

i got some problem, last sunday. i have to wait until my engine heat over the 50 celcius before it start to run great. i first think it was fuel problem or my coil, cause we get some bad fuel 2 week ago, but the b1r of my friends running great sunday. i run the NGK R B7es. i hate buying "suprem" fuel and adding octane booster to it, will switch to racing fuel, a friend having a half tank of c12, so i will be sure to not get some other rotten fuel. nobody buy "super" fuel here, so the underground tank maybe have the same fuel since last summer, the guys that refill the tank told me they full up 4 time a years, i may switch to normal fuel, maybe hehe but will try to get some b9es, maybe the best to do? Hello faucon. Plug colour looks ok to me, though the background artwork is in better focus. ;D My B9ES plug is a slightly lighter shade than the one in your picture,it is new though and we only run standard pump fuel. (95 RON).

ok, why racing fuel, why higher octane level? simple, you may use racing on any engine but its not all engine that use lower octane level. octane level go whit the presure of the cylinder, if the octane level was too low for a high presure setup, you will have pre- ingnition auto inguition or knock and overheating. maybe why you need colder plug using 95 fuel. what give presure? its the head compresion ratio, 16.5:1 on the gp3r. and you have the exaust pipe that give a boost of pressure at given rpm. so, if you refer to ADA racing head kit, they recommend 116 octane for the 17:1 and 105 for the 15:1, for exemple. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octane_ratingchk the Effects of octane rating chapiter, after the net energie image... Using a fuel with a higher octane lets an engine run at a higher compression without having problems with knock. Actual compression...

ouff, i try any spark plug, i try racing fuel today, but still buging, i also try couple of carb jet, (stock about 95) the 102 was worst and the 92 look too ritch, even whit my problem i feel the jet difference.
i think it was the coil, whit a new plug it work okay for 15 secondes, but can get clutch engagement, also no plug reading, it let unburned fuel on it, if i look fastly. or i puch too hard on octane level, maybe the bike dont have the spark timming for it.
