hi my name is tony i live in wales i have a gp3 rep i cant say i "ride" as so far i havent used it
i bought the bike off ebay 3 weeks ago, i think the way some companies are selling them is a bit dodgy
however maybe not known to them was all these faults in the assembly which i wasnt told about. after setting the bike up as per pathetic instructions the clutch burned out after 20 yards ,bought a polini clutch, which for a new rider had no instructions on how to set up, this fell apart and broke a spring which i was told i had adjusted it wrong. i have since found this site and all the problems have been found and a detailed description of how to rectify.
the company has been very good mind they collected the bike and looked at it but i am still having problems with getting polini to change the clutch.
i have been a mechanic for over 10 years so know how things work or it doesnt take me long to work it out.
a concern i do have is these companies selling these gp 3 reps with no warrantee the excuse they give is they are racing machines and need detailed setting up.
dont they mean that these bikes are really great but the factory messed up building them so we are selling them without warrantee so that when you get it home and fire it up it will fall apart and cost you more money and you cant come back on us to repair it.
i really dont mind doing work on the bike before using surely these sellers must know the faults but i really bugs me when i pay 240 quid for a brand new mini moto and all its done so far is cost me money when i could have simply replaced the missing washer and by now clocked up a few miles on it.

Hello. My name is Ken and i'm the unfortunate bloke given the job of maintaining my son Luke's black GP3Reverse rep.
This is his first watercooled bike but he's also got a couple of aircooled reps which he's outgrown now.
We usually go to Warden Law cart track on a Monday evening if i'm not working.

We will be there 2nd of April giving the bike its first run on the track.
I think we've got the bike pretty much sorted,but if we have any troubles i'll let you know.

i`m Hally aka Tony,I live in Norwich and i ride a gp3 rep the same tune as markyb`s as we both went to see scott finlay and it was our 2 bikes that set the bench mark standard for the gp3 reps, mark and my self with the help from Dave watson of Dave Watson Engineering in norwich have made many improvements to the gp3 reps, My latest idea is a frame brace and has been proved by several gp3 rep owners as a major improvment to the overall handling of the machine, the next major improvment i intend to do is the brakes, not sure which way to go yet but hydraulic front is looking the best option so far (next time you are in your town pop into your local cycle shop and look at hydraulic brakes ?).
i am also the founder of The Replica Race club & No Hope Racing, I am a friendly, helpful kinda person who will do almost any thing for any one type of person, my racing roots where passed down to by my father who raced cars for over 30 years, I have always been into bikes ever since i can remember, at the age of 17 i passed my bike test on my rd250 back in the good old days when a little man had a big clip board lol, i gave up big bike 2.5 years ago when i got the minimoto bug big time and have never looked back since

Hello, my name is Fahd (a.k.a Feh-Feh on MiniMotoClub) and I ride the following bikes:

Aprilia RS125, Aprilia RS50, CAG Mark 2, 50cc Semi-Automatic Midi Chopper (which is actually owned by my little brother and not me), 50cc Midi Moto, CAG Mini Dirtbike & two 33cc Petrol Scooters.

Anyway I just thought I'd join as this seems like a great forum and doesn't seem to have any prejudice which in some ways ruins MiniMotoClub.
